DSI Biodiesel - Fueling the Future Now
Ray Inman founded DSI Fabrication in 2003 and quickly began providing quality fabrication services to clients throughout northeast Florida. At the same time, Ray developed an interest in biodiesel fuels, tapping into the resources available from the University of Florida’s Biodiesel Department to educate himself on the process and equipment.
In 2006, Ray joined the St. Johns County, Florida Biofuels Division as Biofuels Technician. As an employee of the county, he completely rebuilt the county’s biodiesel processor and facility, helping to win a 2008 National Clean Water Act Recognition Award along the way.
Based on his experiences with DSI Fabrication and the St. Johns County Biofuels Division, Ray founded DSI Biodiesel. The company’s mission is to help counties, cities and communities like St. Johns County reduce costs and pollution by converting waste vegetable oil to ASTM D 6751 grade biodiesel.
Today, DSI Biodiesel has the resources in place to build automated, computer-controlled biodiesel processors for the commercial/municipal market. When operated in tandem with a community-wide FOG program, the DSI Biodiesel system is proven to reduce air and water pollution while reduce fuel costs for fleet vehicles.
